About Stephanie
Stephanie Kristen is the Founder and Principal Designer of SKL Designs, a full-service design studio specializing in residential and commercial interiors.
With a background spanning custom homes, renovations, high-rise residential developments and commercial spaces, Stephanie brings a thoughtful and detail-driven approach to every project. Her experience began in the development industry, where she spent eight years working alongside a builder and gaining an in-depth understanding of the construction and design process before establishing SKL Designs in 2017.
Today, Stephanie works closely with clients, builders, trades and suppliers to create spaces that are both elevated and highly considered. Her work encompasses everything from space planning and material selections to custom millwork, lighting, furnishings and the finer details that bring a space together.
Stephanie holds a diploma in Interior Design, along with certifications in Home Staging and AutoCAD 2D & 3D. Her approach is rooted in creating timeless, sophisticated spaces tailored to the people who live, work and experience them.

Our approach is highly collaborative. We take the time to understand how our clients live, work and experience their spaces, then develop a cohesive design direction tailored to their needs. From initial concepts and space planning to material selections, custom millwork, lighting, furnishings and final styling, every detail is carefully considered.
For renovations and new-build projects, we work alongside builders, trades, architects and other industry professionals to help guide the design from concept through execution. Our involvement allows us to maintain a consistent vision throughout the project while helping our clients navigate the many decisions that come with creating or transforming a space.
Whether designing a custom home, reimagining an existing property or developing a commercial environment, our goal is to create spaces that feel elevated, intentional and uniquely personal.
